Community Garden Makeover
Monday, August 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
Join us for a Demonstration by Educator Nan Billings and
learn how to create a raised "no-dig, no-till"
sustainable garden mound.
End of Summer is the perfect time to plant a vegetable Garden and our Community Garden will take root with help from our philanthropic partners: Garden Club of Fort Pierce, Lowe's, Growing Healthy Kids (GHK) Outreach Gardens and the Fluffy Fund of Fidelity Charitable Fund. Jr. Master Gardeners of the Treasure Coast have been tending the garden and will spring into action by continuing to maintain the beds! Help is always appreciated!
Please join us to build four raised beds in the Community Garden on Monday, August 27th.
Come prepared with gloves and closed-toed shoes and plan to get dirty.
All volunteers are invited to stay & enjoy lunch!
A Community Garden does not just grow food, it teaches the people who tend it.
Interested new volunteers welcome!
Please RSVP to 772.464.4672 or email info@HeathcoteBotanicalGardens.org.
